Timber Ridge is a private, family-oriented resort nestled in the beautiful foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. The resort is available for year-round use to owners and Getaway members. Passport America members are welcome although some restrictions apply.

What We Offer

Adjacent to the Chattahoochee National Forest, Mountain Lakes Resort is a 275 acre gated community with 24-hour security. Amid breathtaking scenery, visitors can enjoy a 50-acre lake fed by six trout streams and our own Qualatchee Falls. Mountain Lakes Resort members and guests have access to a beautiful clubhouse complete with pool table, ping pong table, foosball table, fitness room, steam room, sauna, locker rooms, both indoor and outdoor pools, a party room, a seasonal waterslide, newly renovated putt-putt course, stables and horses, tennis court, basketball court, horseshoe pits, an on-site diner and country store, multiple picnic pavilions, paddle boats, john boats, and hiking trails with waterfalls. Mountain Lakes amenities are free for owners and members, but a nominal day usage fee does apply to guests. Timber Ridge features 90 full hookup sites, 4 primitive camping sites, and 47 rustic cabins that accommodate up to six guests each. In addition, Timber Ridge members and guests have access to two newly renovated bath houses, an on-site laundromat, a fishing dock, a fish cleaning station, several large fire pit areas, and multiple WiFi access points. The Area

The northeast Georgia mountains are abundant with scenic waterfalls, beautiful hiking trails, arts and crafts, great shopping, good food, and activities for the entire family. Timber Ridge is convenient to all the areas popular attractions and only six miles from charming Alpine Helen. Close proximity to several world-class golf courses, multiple areas for trout fishing, and some of the best festivals in the south combine with the natural beauty of the mountains making Timber Ridge a premier family getaway.
