| Welcome to Timber Ridge Resort! Timber Ridge is a private, family-oriented resort nestled in the beautiful foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. The resort is available for year round use to owners and Getaway members. Passport America members are welcome although some restrictions apply. Adjacent to the Chattahoochee National Forest, we are located within 275 acre Mountain Lakes Resort which has a gated entrance and 24-hour security. Amid breathtaking scenery, visitors can enjoy a 50-acre lake fed by six trout streams and our own Qualatchee Falls. The northeast Georgia mountains are abundant with scenic waterfalls, beautiful hiking trails, arts and crafts, great shopping, good food, and activities for the entire family. Timber Ridge is convenient to all the area's popular attractions and only six miles from charming Alpine Helen. World class golf courses, trout fishing, and some of the south's best festivals combined with the natural beauty of the mountains make Timber Ridge a premier family getaway. Timber Ridge features 90 full hook-up RV sites, including cable TV, 10 tent sites, and 48 rustic cabins accommodating up to six guests each. Facilities include a covered picnic pavilion, laundry, bath houses, dock, fish cleaning station, snack bar, clubhouse, two wi-fi hot spots and a chapel with Sunday services. Mountain Lakes amenities are free to owners and members; a nominal day usage fee applies to guests. Timber Ridge Resort prides itself on providing quality vacation and leisure time to our guests.
